RESTRICTION ON SCAVENGING AND CART-PUSHING BETWEEN 6:00PM AND 6:00AM
The Obio/Akpor Local Government Council has banned all scavenging and cart-pushing activities between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily within the Local Government Area.
This measure is to curb rising cases of theft, vandalism, and other criminal acts often carried out under the guise of scavenging.
All security agencies and task force units have been directed to enforce this order strictly. Defaulters will be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
Residents and community leaders are urged to ensure full compliance to maintain peace and security across Obio/Akpor.
